Mrs. Ashley Thompson graduated from North Carolina State University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Spanish and ESL Education. She began her teaching career at Wakefield High School where she taught Spanish 1 through Advanced Placement for 10 years. She obtained her Master's Degree in Spanish Literature and Linguistics in 2010. In 2016, she began a new chapter in her educational career at Louisburg Elementary School as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. She has served ESL students from Louisburg Elementary, Laurel Mill Elementary, Royal Elementary, Long Mill Elementary, Franklinton High School and is now excitedly serving Franklinton Elementary and Franklinton Middle School students. She loves to travel with her husband, learn new technology tools and play outside with her kiddos!

She has been teaching for 26 years. She taught Kindergarten at FES previously for 5 years and previously taught special education. This is her 3rd year as EC Resource Teacher. She is married and has two children, Dylan (20) and Kylie (16). Her favorite things to do are watching NC State Football, dancing, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Page graduated from California Universtiy of Pennsylvania in 2006. She has taught third grade for 13 years in Vance County and has taught fourth grade in Franklin County for 5 years. She has two daughters, ages 16 and 10. She enjoys music, being outside and being with her friends and family.

Mrs. Page has been teaching at Franklinton Elementary School for 5 years. She is currently the K-5 Instructional Coach and was Teacher of the Year for the 2023 school year. She enjoys watching her students eyes light up when they understand something new. Please contact her if you have any questions or concerns.

Rachel Smyth has been a Speech Therapist in the school system for 12 years. She has a passion for supporting the development of communication in children. She has experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings including public schools, outpatient clinics, preschool centers, and homes. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, pets, being outside, and volunteering with a local animal rescue.
