Strategic Plan 2020-2025

This guiding document, Blueprint 2025, is provided as a high-level overview of the district’s plan. In addition, we have provided a breakdown of strategies by goal.

Due to the significant and ongoing impact of COVID-19, designation of benchmarked measurable outcomes for each year is difficult to establish at this time. The district will use the 2021 spring assessment results as a baseline for yearly targets based upon each goal.

School Parent Compact
Together we will develop an agreement that parents, students and teachers will develop to explain how all stakeholders can work together to ensure all students reach grade-level standards.

Parent and Family Engagement School Goals

Franklinton Elementary School will take the following measures to promote and support parents as an important foundation of the school in order to strengthen the school and reach our school goals:

  • Franklinton Elementary will provide opportunities for families to collect resources needed at different times throughout the year to help with our students’ success.

  • Franklinton Elementary School will share school messenger messages to help keep parents informed with school activities.

  • Franklinton Elementary School’s teachers will share student academic progress by communicating with families through email, phone, parent-teacher conferences,  progress reports and report cards

  • Franklinton Elementary School will provide families with the opportunity to volunteer and participate in their child’s class (when safe to do so).

  • Franklinton Elementary School will provide a high-quality curriculum and instruction learning environment to meet the academic needs of all students.

Franklinton Elementary School believes that parental involvement means the participation for parents in regular two-way and meaningful communication about student academic learning and other school activities.

This ensures that parents are full partners in their child’s academic development and are included, as appropriate, in decision-making and on advisory committees to assist in the education of their child.
